Vitamin Dis essential for our wellbeing. More and more are recognising it now. Recently I went to a talk from Dr. Bill Code who talked about the benefits and how much he takes. We need it because we are not enough in the sun. We need the sun as plants need it.
Sunscreen prevents the sun to have a positive effect. Does everybody needs it? I lived 5 years on a sail boat and never used sunscreen. I believe only a small percentage of the population needs it. Perhaps it is better not to sunbath forever in the sun.
Could it be that a healthy nourished body that gets a lot of raw food with life energy is resilient and will not get skin cancer and does not need sunscreen? I heard from a health professional once that the use of single vitamins or minerals brings our system out of balance. Which makes sense considering that spinach has 12.000 (twelve thousand) chemical components which work synergistically together. We need the whole plant for maximum results and we need .the sun for Vitamin D and during winter a Vitamin D supplement.
