Natural Deodorants Not as Good as we Think

The “crystal” deodorant stones and sprays are the most popular and I was ssurprised that they actually contain aluminum … and that is what we want to avoid. Most people, including me, don’t know this.

The crystal deodorant stones are made from alum. Potassium alum is according to Dr. Mercola widely used in the personal care industry. The full chemical name of potassium alum is potassium aluminum sulfate.

People try to avoid aluminum in deodorant  because of its possible link to Alzheimer’s disease.  Proof that this theory might be right is the following: in 1988 a truck driver accidentally dumped 20 tons of aluminum sulfate in to a town’s drinking water. Now, over 20 years later, they are finding a higher incidence of Alzheimer’s in the people of this town.

Antiperspirants work by clogging, closing, or blocking the pores that release sweat under your arms — they can do this because of the active  ingredient  aluminum.  It blocks one of your body’s routes for detoxification (releasing toxins via your underarm sweat), but it raises concerns about where these heavy metals are going when they can’ leave with the sweat.

What I have noticed is that since I am drinking Himalayan Goji Juice or GoChi I do not need antiodorant, but when I travel and do not drink the juice I need it again.Which shows me that the ingredients of these juices help my body to detoxify. I noticed also that liver spots beocme smaller.

Try it out, go to my website and read more about it. We all need to do our best to reduce the toxins in our body.

PS: perhaps you would like to know what doctors have to say about THIS … it is a very short video, but it is worth watching.
